January 2019 Roundup – What a Stressful and Empowering Month!

Hi lovely, and welcome to my January Roundup 🙂

How did January 2019 treat you?

It was pretty darn difficult for me over here at StephanieCristi 🙁

Between TONS of schoolwork, the day job, Dobby’s new diagnosis, and some family health issues, it’s been difficult to stay on top of everything as well as I would have liked to.

It did however, show me how persistent and strong I can be 😉

And thankfully, there were some big upsides as well!

I’ve begun offering blog advertising on StephanieCristi for bloggers out there seeking to expand their reach!

I know! Mega exciting!

And on top of that, I was contacted by a company seeking to partner up for sponsored posts – so of course I’m absolutely thrilled at this new venture into monetizing StephanieCristi!

Don’t worry though – giving you worthy content is still my top priority so I won’t be accepting any posts I don’t think will be useful to you 🙂

Anyway, let’s get started with the month’s new content. 🙂

The winter and holiday months can be mega tough for lots of people, so in case you’re struggling too, I’ve posted an article including tips for battling loneliness.

Since I got to fly back home to Miami to see family and dogsit my childhood pup, I’ve published a guide on conquering the Miami weather from the point of view of a local.

I’ve also published a guide on what you should pack in your carry-on… because I know how tricky it can be to keep packing light and easy-to-manage.

To kick off the new year being as helpful as I can be, I’ve published my list of top 40 blogging tips for beginners! 🙂

I mentioned it in passing earlier but Dobby was diagnosed with a luxating patella early this month – I know, what a terrible way to start a new year!

So in order to help out other dog moms out there, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned about a luxating patella in dogs. Hopefully, it comes in handy if you ever get the sad news – and I hope you never do!

And in case you’re considering bringing a kitty home, I’ve written up a guide on my experience living with cats.
