I’m so excited to share with you one of my favorite Christmas presents from this year – my Erin Condren Life Planner! I have so many moving parts in my day-to-day life – the many aspects of my three blogs (StephanieCristi, theWhiteHatHACKER, and Tutor in Tinseltown), work, school (at 2 universities!), tutoring, and, of course, my personal life. Life definitely has been known to get a little crazy for me! After lots of researching, I ended up back at my original love: the Erin Condren Life Planner.
And unsurprisingly, I love it so far! I have only been using it about a week, so today I’ll share with you why I chose it, what accessories I’ve used in the past, and how it all arrived. Then, after I have used it for a while, I will be sure to publish an update for you all on my Erin Condren Life Planner workflow. If you are interested in purchasing your own, head over now through this link and create an account to get $10 your purchase!

Table of Contents
The Erin Condren Life Planner is heavy duty with laminated covers, but with tons of colorful and custom designs, it’s both stylish AND strong enough for daily wear-and-tear. And now the covers are interchangeable so you can switch them out for each holiday or whenever you’re in the mood for a new look.
You can also personalize your cover. Since I hope to do more traveling this year (and every year moving forward, tbh) I got a watercolor world cover.
Fun quotes and designs
I don’t want a boring calendar. I want it to be colorful and fun to use. The Life Planner has lovely and uplifting designs and bright colors, plus inspirational quotes throughout for some extra motivation. And even if they don’t really motivate you, at least they’ll make the planner more fun and create a unique look.
The calendar portion
There are laminated tabs for each month, which brings you to a two-page spread. This spread also has a notes section to the side which I like because I am going to use it for monthly goals and objectives. I chose the vertical layout which means that weekly spreads are divided into three sections. They used to be labeled morning, day and night but now they’re left blank for even more customization. I’ll probably use them for work, school, and fun (which will include my blogs).
Clear, snap-in ruler
The Erin Condren Life Planner comes with a clear ruler to snap in and hold your place for you. As a crafter, I also like having a ruler constantly available.
Add-ins at the end
There are 8 lined and dotted blank pages for notes. I want space to write my thoughts and ideas, so this was definitely a selling point for the Life Planner.
They’ve even included a couple of pages for coloring, which is just so cute.
There’s also one page for jotting down contacts and another 2-page spread for planning out 2020.
There is a pocket at the back which is great for receipts, loose notes or recipes.
Not only does the Erin Condren Life Planner have a pocket folder, but there is also a sealable pocket. I will probably use this for pens, pencils, erasers, and a couple blank cards to have on hand.
Removable calendar for important events
Instead of always needing to switch over every birthday and anniversary, Erin Condren has now included a small, removable calendar for this purpose. When I need to buy a new Life Planner, I will be able to just move this over and save time!
240 colorful stickers to highlight birthdays, special events and reminders
These come with each planner, and I love them to highlight important things on the monthly spreads. There is also an option to buy customizable stickers which I am considering. For example, I could buy stickers for the blog that say “travel,” “self-care,” or “blogging” and some for school that say “assignment due”.
Erin Condren has tons of cute must-have accessories. Some of my favorites are the pens, coil clips, and elastic bands.
The Erin Condren marker pens are so cute! I purchased the set of 5 and they came in blue, green, yellow, red, and orange. I use them to color-coordinate my notes so I always know what I’m working on.
The coil clips have adhesive, so you can attach an invitation or photo to the holder and then place it right into the Life Planner. I love this for invites because you can directly add it to the week or month you need it for with directions and info right there at your fingertips. If you add in enough of these, by the end of the year your planner has also become a sort of scrapbook of events and places you’ve been, which I just find so lovely.
I didn’t get one this time around but last year I ordered a coordinating notepad and it was incredibly useful! One way I used the note pad was to jot down my resolutions for the year and coil clip them into place. It really helped me keep them in mind as the months passed by. I also use them for shopping lists, and all sorts of little to-dos that I don’t want to include in my planner.
Free gift labels
Your planner will come with fun gift label stickers as well as coordinating stickers to your cover. They are a fun bonus, but you can also buy more.
Other accessories I want
If I ever really want to splurge, I may end up buying:
- photo stickers to mark birthdays and other special occasions,
- custom event stickers for business and personal life,
- and a cover with photos of my most recent family pictures.
I was really happy with how everything arrived. Erin Condren always wraps up everything so nicely in tissue paper and bubble wrap to keep everything in place. I was really happy to see that extra care was taken to keep everything protected for arrival. Plus the box was super cute – as should be expected with Erin Condren.
Oh! And another great thing about Erin Condren, is that they also sell spiral notebooks (which I’ve also bought before and loved), teacher planners, wedding planners, family notepads, address books, and much, much more! You will totally want to head over to see all the options. Plus, if you create an account using this link, you will receive $10 your purchase!
