Correct me if I’m wrong, but getting (and maintaining) traffic to your blog is probably one of the toughest aspects of blogging, amiright ladies?
It sucks sitting down day after day to create great content for your readers… Only to realize that you don’t actually have ANY readers at all.
Are you in this stage? Getting a handful of viewers in traffic to your blog? Or maybe you have some great days followed by days with no viewers at all?
Yikes.
Well, I’ve got great news for you!

And third, if you’re struggling with increasing blog traffic, that’s where Viral Content Bee comes in!
Table of Contents
What is Viral Content Bee?
Viral Content Bee is a network of talented content creators sharing each other’s websites and blog posts!
Sounds great, huh?
How does it work?
Creating your Viral Content Bee account
When you create an account with Viral Content Bee, you link it with all your social media accounts. As of September 2018, the supported social networks are:
- Tumblr
- Google+
Keep in mind that you have to have enough followers on these networks for VCB to accept the link. Just take a look at my follower counts on those two Twitter accounts!
Viral Content Bee does not allow me to share posts to either of these Twitter accounts, since it wouldn’t be fair to the creators whose content I’m sharing to use up their budgeted points when I wouldn’t be able to give their post much visibility.
On that note… if you’d like to follow me on Twitter, you can do so here for StephanieCristi, here for Tutor in Tinseltown, and here for theWhiteHatHACKER.
Even though this may suck when you’re just starting out as a contributor and your sharing abilities are limited, keep in mind that it also protects you from having your content shared to small accounts as well.
But let’s say you have at least one social network with enough followers.
Sharing other’s content from Viral Content Bee
In the dashboard tab, you’ll see the content shared by other writers sorted by topic.
All you have to do is share their content to your approved social network and you’ll earn points! The stronger your presence in that network, the more points you’ll earn for sharing posts so it benefits you to continue focusing on gaining engaged followers.
Posting your own content to VCB
Now here comes the fun part!
Once you have at least 10 points, you can share something of yours.
They call submissions Projects. So to start a new project, you go through and input the information about your post as well as where you would like it to be shared.
When your account is new, your posts will need to be quality checked to make sure you’re sharing high-quality content but after several solid projects, your posts will go live automatically.
I posted my article… What now?
So let’s say you submit a project with the 10-point minimum budget. If I come along and share it on Pinterest, it costs you 4 points, leaving you with 6 to spare. If someone with a bigger following than mine shares your content, it might leave you with a balance of only 1 point or even none.
Therefore, once you post your article, go back to sharing other’s content. Because if your blog post is a good one (and I’m sure it is ?) you’ll soon run out of those original points! Don’t worry, VCB alerts you when your project is running low on so you can add more points to your budget.
As you can see above, VCB will let you know how many points you have left and how many are tied up in queued posts. When your shares start slowing down, it’s probably because your post is down to the second or third page (or worse!). If it’s a post you want to keep getting views on, just add another 30 points to your budget and it’ll get moved back to the top spot π
TL;DR
I hope you’re as excited about Viral Content Bee as I was when I discovered it!
It’s a win-win for everyone:
- You’ll get more eyes on your posts and more traffic to your blog
- You’ll get to support other content creators on a similar journey
- You’ll always have great new content to share, which your readers will appreciate AND will help your social networks grow as well since you’re posting valuable information. This will result in more points for each share!

I had no idea VCB existed. This is really helpful! Thank you!
Hi Jessica,
Isn’t it fantastic? There are, of course, other ways for content creators to support each other and build each other up, but I thought this was just so useful when I found it. I especially love how fair the system is regarding points for sharing a post given how big your audience is in that network. That way you know the sharing and reshaping are somewhat even.

This is a topic that is near to my heart… Cheers! I’d love to contact you personally.
I have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I didn’t find any interesting article like yours. Itβs pretty worthy enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before. These are actually impressive ideas in regarding blogging.
You have touched some nice points here. Anyway, keep up writing.
